Iran

Among the 44 Verbascum species distributed in Iran, 21 are endemic to Iran (47,7%). Most of endemic species (93%) belong to Iriano-Turanian (Iranian part), while 15 (34%) belong to Hyrcanian and 2 (4.5%) belong to Sudanian floristic region. *
